Welcome to the website of Wessex Lodge 50734, a lodge of Freemasons in Basingstoke, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Wessex Lodge was consecrated at The Masonic Hall, Victoria Street, Basingstoke on 30th April 1968. It was formed to assist in the accommodation of the increasing number of masons and others interested in joining who had moved to the area as a result of the expansion of Basingstoke as an overspill town.
The Lodge is an active member of the local community. Our main charity this year is in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. However, we also regularly contribute to the current 2016 Festival (long term fundraiser) in support of the Royal Masonic Trust for Boys and Girls, as well as to other nearby good causes such as Loddon School. The Loddon School is both home and school for 28 children who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties.
