Sometimes it's as simple at agonising what colour to paint a wall:

At other times, the need is making plans come to life (without having to tell it where bedroom, bathroom and kitchen features belong). You can change the furniture around to more classic or more modern designs - or give it sample pictures of furniture to use as references.
It's very easy to turn an ad-hoc sketch into an artists render design at day or night. Or you can take a picture and ask for a line drawing. I think my next prompt is to remove the coffee stain and put it on a piece of paper rather than a pretend hankerchief!
