Took a picture of their kiddies Mini Cooper first haircut chair. Turned it into a short video as part of a Facebook thankyou to their customers
Problem:
One of the concerns was the ability to generate "deep fakes" of real people - so the accepted practice is to get Gemini to describe what it sees in the photo you take. I did this with the picture, then asked Google Veo 3 to generate a video of the owner (with long curly brown hair) driving the car (as described by Gemini, with a custom number plate) through an Oxfordshire village.
The current restriction is that video generated, by default, lasts up to 8 seconds. This will grow in time, but for our use here, that's all we needed to place the ad (with an accompanying thank you note) on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Result:
The video ran on Facebook and Instagram for a week ahead of the August bank holiday, was viewed 6,000 times and resulted in over 100 customer responses, all of which contained positive sentiments.
